Solvents

 Asit Ticaret, Solventler

A liquid or a gas substance, which dissolves a solid, liquid or gas substance into a solution. In the industry, solvents are used almost in every production sector for processes such as degreasing and cleaning etc. Solvents are classified into two class; Halogen and halogen-free and they can be classified as dangerous depending on their chemical compound's features and hazardous waste after usage.

Halogen-free solvents are aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbon components. Examples for halogen solvents can be methylene chloride, etylchlorite, ethylene chlorite, trichloroethylene, chloroform, chloroethane compounds, chlorinated benzenes and chlorinated phenol.
